Turkey Bone Broth

Not sure what to do with your Turkey scraps after you’re finished carving it on Thanksgiving? Make your own Turkey Bone Broth!

It’s not only super easy to make, but it also has many health benefits and saves you so much money from buying stock + bone broth from the store!

Ingredients:

  • Turkey Carcass, Giblets, Etc

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

  • Rosemary

  • Thyme

  • Lemon

  • Onion

How To Make:

1. Add all the scraps including: herbs, lemon, spices, bones, neck, giblets, etc to a stock pot with enough filtered water to cover everything.
2. Bring to a boil then reduce to low heat and simmer uncovered for 4-6 hours. If too much liquid is evaporating cover with a lid. Or if its not cooked down yet, continue to simmer.

3. Place a bowl under a fine pasta strainer and pour the liquid into the bowl. Highly recommend doing this in the sink just in case.

4. Sip on immediately and add freshly minced garlic, lemon, hot sauce, spices etc OR save in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge OR in the freezer until you’re ready to use.
