Meet your new best friend - muscle. Muscle will literally change your life! It will help you get to the level of health and fitness that you've been wanting and working for all along. For the next month, swap 3 of your 5 days per week of cardio for strength training, ditch your scale for a tape measurer and watch your body transform!
Muscle is your New Cardio - Stop wasting time doing all that cardio and start strength training! (Click Here for Exercises) Every pound of muscle that you add burns an extra 30-50 calories per day. By adding 3 pounds of muscle, you can burn over 15 pounds of fat per year! If that doesn't sound amazing, I don't know what does!
Weigh the Same and get Smaller - Swap a pound of muscle for a pound of fat and you will literally shrink. You know why!? Muscle is only a 1/3 of the size of fat, yep, you heard me right!
Ditch the Traditional Scale - Your new scale is a tape measurer. For some reason society has us obsessed with weighing ourselves, at the end of the day, your weight does not matter. Wouldn't you rather be a few sizes smaller and look amazing rather than weigh 5 pounds less and look the same?! Start measuring your arms, chest, waist, hips and thighs every other Friday and put away the scale.
Take Progress Pictures - We see ourselves everyday and sometimes its hard to appreciate all the work we have done, especially when the traditional scale isn't moving much. Take a picture of yourself once a week by setting your camera to a timer from the front, side and back. In six months start from the beginning and scroll through them, you will be amazed!
