8-Minute Abs: TRX Edition
Its Video Time! This week we're getting back to another installment of the 8-Minute Ab Series, but this time we're using the TRX! We'll be focusing on 4 different exercises: Pikes, Abductions, Knee Tucks and Pendulums for a total of 8-minutes of abs. We're doing each exercise for 45 seconds with a 15 second rest to transition between exercises. When you finish with the fourth ab exercise, repeat all four exercises one more time. *(Although each exercise is timed, its not about doing as many reps as you can, its about making each rep count. The slower and more contracted your abs are through the exercise, the more you'll get out of it.)
When using the TRX for any exercises on the ground, especially for abs, its best to adjust the TRX to mid-calf height so that your body is in alignment. For more on how to adjust the TRX, check out my previous video HERE.
